About

Meet Erin Lautsch.

Founder & Program Director, Elevate Arts Conservatory

Her Story

25 years of putting young artists on stage

Erin Lautsch is an NYU-trained theater director with more than 25 years in the performing arts. She has served as a director at Palo Alto Children's Theater, Artistic & Music Director at La Cañada Children's Theatre in Los Angeles, and Writer and Director for a UNICEF Performing Arts Initiative in South Korea — alongside a career of international performing and directing.

Today she lives on the San Mateo Peninsula, where her own two children are growing up in the same school communities Elevate serves. That's not incidental — it's the whole point. These are our families. Elevate Arts Conservatory was born from the belief that Peninsula kids deserve real conservatory training in their own neighborhood: not just a fun hour after school (though it is), but technique, repertoire, and stage experience taught to a professional standard, by someone who has spent a career doing exactly this.

Erin also maintains a full roster of private voice and audition students, co-chairs her kids' school's talent show, and is developing Own the Audition, an online course for young performers worldwide, regardless of where they live.

The Philosophy

Future performers and future leaders are the same child

For the child with a passion for performance, Elevate provides real training — the technique, repertoire, and stage experience to actually pursue it. For the child who simply loves to sing and express themselves, they receive something equally powerful: unshakable confidence — the ability to speak clearly, handle pressure gracefully, and collaborate with others. Skills that will serve them in every classroom, boardroom, and relationship of their lives.
